Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teen she sang in both the traditional and popular music. Her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as sweet, sharp but also with a little bite. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with a variety of producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The release date was March 20, 2022, in the wake of the live performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the very first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show.
